Experience
- I have worked with people with disability since 2021.
- I would describe my practice as behaviour-focused, family-centred and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy crafting, reading and with my dog - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as compassionate, motivational and respectful, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people:
That I can be the advocate for change that the participant needs in their life. Knowing that through my experience and knowledge i can guide and educate others to increase a participants Quality of Life and live life by their rules. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from others and gain a deeper understanding of the wider community. Every day is different and that our approach with each participant is different. That's what matters.
